This is actually exciting. I will wait for microled for sure. As for TV's I hope the price will drop quickly as microled is better than OLED but way more expensive. You need 3 for each pixel and they have to be lithographically manufactured unlike miniled. But I suspect it will take many year to even reach OLED panel pricing.

Samsung Display is moving into MicroLED panel production for smartwatches. Currently limited to high-end TVs, MicroLED panels offer superior brightness and contrast ratio values than conventional AMOLED panels while consuming less power to boot.
