By the time, when 4k LCD projectors with reflective panels  (flicker-free vs DLP) are finally available to the masses, there will be nothing to watch. Hollywood already is completely dead and for the whole of 2022 has not made a single decent film for adults in the R category. You can only play in games on the projector with an input lag of less than 5ms and the same response to b2w/g2g. How many of these projectors have you seen on market? Surfing on a DLP projector is a priori impossible - it is harmful to the nervous system and eyes due to flicker. Well, only a laser provides a decent resource from 20000 hours.

As soon as TV learns to roll up into rolls, like projector screens, projectors will die, no one will need them against the backdrop of flexible AMOLED/microLED TV from 100"+...

BenQ has showcased the GP500, a DLP projector that can create 150-inch images while resolving at 4K. The projector will be available first in the US, where it will launch for US$1,799.
