While it is unpleasant to see the memory bus width reduced, keep in mind that bandwidth is all that matters (24 Gbps with 64-bit bus equals 192 GB/s - not too shabby!).

I own a 3070 laptop versione (Legion 7Si) which has a boost clock of 1875 MHz (checked with HW Monitor).
Since the RTX 3070 has more shaders and nearly the same bandwidth, I think that the difference with RTX 4070 laptop will be very very narrow without DLSS 3.0.

As to efficiency, we must await tests!

What a load of nonsense, so they claim 3x performance vs 3000 series. Obviously this includes 2x from DLSS3, therefore performance at best will be 50% better than last gen. Also massive TDP differences, 4080 with 35w? I'm sure low powered 4070/4080 will run no better than full power 3070ti/3080ti

Nvidia has announced the mobile versions of its Ada Lovelace-based RTX 4000 graphics cards. The GeForce RTX 4070, RTX 4060 and RTX 4050 will supposedly deliver GeForce RTX 3080-class performance while consuming a third of the power. Gaming laptops featuring the GPUs will be available starting February 22 at US$999.
