But we see once more the schizophrenic manufacturers.
If you invest in 18" it is because the screen is of primal importance.
So you now only offer a 300nits screen?

True...but this is Alienware, the moment I saw the brand I expected a crappy display despite everything else.

2.5K not 2K. Don't foward the marketing misnomers! I do agree 2560x1600 240Hz OLED would be a fantastic middle ground, particularly if it had a reasonable PWM situation.

I agree. The refresh rate battle is beyond ridiculous. Focus on resolution/color depth/latency before going beyond what the eye can visually perceive.

16:10, ordinarily sized arrow and num keys, mechanical keyboard, vapor chamber, possibly Win 11 Pro (in Germany?) - I am dying from excitement except that I would have to cover two alien heads by labels and bear them in the software... Need to await noise and German keyboard layout though.

Dell is re-introducing the 18-inch form factor with the Alienware m18. The Alienware m18 comes in both Intel/Nvidia and all-AMD options while offering a choice between QHD+ 165 Hz and FHD 480 Hz displays. Buyers can also configure the Alienware m18 with a CherryMX keyboard and up to 9 TB of quad-storage configurations.
