Just nervous for competition. Saudis have money and connections, especially in China. Lucid has been making strategic moves as of late that will potentially take a large bite out of Tesla, not to mention Musk's Twitter issues and how that's affecting Tesla's business. I think it's sabre rattling on his part because he knows Tesla's relative dominance in the EV field is slowly but surely coming to an end. (And rightly so.)

I actually can see this to be true... although Tesla is starting to lose the race to the Germans.. The Germans always made better luxury cars.. but they didn't have the tech.. and now they do... I had a 20'Tesla X and Tesla told me I would have to wait 8months to order a new one.. Welp, Audi told me a month for an 23'E-Tron Chronos.. and two days later after I left the dealer they had a dealer allocated one on a truck that was on the way. Please believe Mercedes EQS series.. BMW i7, and Audi GT are all better than Tesla X or S.. *Side Note*..  The Audi dealer had a Lucid on the lot.. a Manager had it.. it only had about 2K miles on it but they still wanted 150K for it... It does have the most power and the best range out of the EV's but the Chevy Silverado EV if you like trucks is slated to have more range than Lucid. OK.. Thats my EV experience for the last 3 years..

I might have been a fan (a long time ago) and then he opened his mouth and started talking gibberish.
I am hopeful for Lucid to Kick Tesla's behind and I believe that is the reason Bully-Musk has to pick on the little guy.
All in on Lucid.

Why does a CEO predicting the demise of their competitor make news? Of course he wants Lucid to look bad, their technology beats Tesla's in just about everything. Is it important because he is rich?

After Elon started Shilling useless crypto coins for fun, I lost all respect for him. His careless indirect / and direct comments promoting crypto's has probably got a lot of youngsters in trouble financially. They say, with great power comes great responsibility, I "believe" that Elon's autism is stopping him thinking straight sometimes. He has been using social media as a free advertising platform for far too long, someone needs to put a stop to his nonsense.

LOL, this why the collective West is on the decline...  They fear competition.  The reason why Tesla and Apple allowed to thrive in China when they could have been wiped out many times over in a revenge act for Huawei is just that, the Chinese government actually values competition.  CCP knows Tesla is way inferior to BYD and Apple (iPhones) way inferior to Huawei.  BUT without Tesla or Apple China can never experience the true innovation thru competition!

Quote from: Celsi on December 12, 2022, 14:37:07Elon Musks believes... okay, enough already, I am already convinced to believe the opposite.

Elon may have been a genius, a visionary one.
But at the point he shot a Tesla into orbit (or farther), he turned into a narcissistic manic. And today he still is.
I am really annoyed today by any "Elon thinks..." or "Elon says..." news.
Just back off, Elon.

"small automaker will go out of business" is one of the easiest predictions anyone could make. I hope your affliction gets you in trouble.

"Tesla CEO Elon Musk" is a troll. He's a petty bully with a god complex. I hope Lucid end up kicking Tesla's behind just so that he would be shown for the idiot that he is one more time.

The relatively young American automaker, which made headlines with the good-looking and incredibly efficient Lucid Air, may not come out on top of the EV market according to Elon Musk, who once again reiterated that he does not think the company will stay afloat for much longer.
