@Hobblez: In my opinion there was no 6000G series because of multiple reasons...

1) First of all the RDNA2-APU always felt like a beta run, a proof of concept (only starting in Q2 2022).
2) RDNA2-APUs were also rarely available on laptops, which indicates there was something else going on.
3) And there was: they planned to release a new socket and new CPU series only a couple of months later, in 2023.
4) Thus I think it just wasn't worth for AMD to bring out a 6000G APU for desktops anymore, nor was it worth to produce large quantities of APUs for laptops.

Instead they probably wanted make the new socket and CPU generation the new starting point.

While this guesswork and speculation, I expect 7000G APUs to be available in much bigger quantities and much wider available. And with the advantage that you can probably upgrade to a 8000G APU later on.

The X300 and the Desk-Meet are sure not to scale there as the X300 in much smaller than the Desk-Meet and the X300 Desk-Mini takes an A300M Mini-STX motherboard and really When I purchased my X300 Desk-Mini AM4, a product that was advertised as out of the box ready for Ryzen 4000G and designed  for Ryzen 4000G with firmware included to support Ryzen 4000G, having AMD make the Ryzen 4000G OEM only for more than a year was a smack in the face to me/other X300 owners as it was not until Ryzen 5000G arrived that any actual Ryzen 4000G Processor in Box variants where made available at retailer outlets.  Both AMD and ASRock should have been forced to supply X300 Desk Mini owners with a Retail version of the Ryzen 4000G non Pro Variants to meet that devices advertised claim there instead of forcing the X300 Desk Mini owners to wait 2 years for Ryzen 4000G availability and really once Ryzen 5000G was available most OEMs no longer desired Ryzen 4000G exclusivity anyways.

Now who's to say that any Ryzen 7000G  parts will not be also made OEM only and why AMD's not already started offering some Ryzen 6000G/AM5 Desktop APU  Socketed parts is a smack in the face to the DIY small Form Factor DIY end users. What About any InWin Chopin Builds on a Mini-ITX AM5 Motherboard that could have been done in the here and now if AMD had released a Ryzen 6000G. And AMD uses the same monolithic APU Die samples for its Mobile and Desktop APUs and it's just that for the Desktop APUs the cTDP for the G series Desktop APUs can be set as high as 65 Watts and the G series APUs are packaged for Socket Based MBs and not BGA.

AMD by its actions really has shown a callous disregard for the Desktop APU Small Form Factor DIY system builder market with that Ryzen 4000G OEM Exclusivity and not having a yearly release cadence of Desktop APUs(No Ryzen 6000G with RDNA2 12CU integrated Graphics) and should AMD's callous treatment continue then it will be mostly still Vega integrated graphics with no options to get some RDNA2 or RDNA3 integrated graphics based Desktop G series APUs for ASRock(Desk-Mini or Desk-Meet) or Inwin Chopin Small form factor Desktop PC builds.

X600 chipset indicates exactly that- no additional B650/X670 chipset, but use of whatever is integrated into the CPU itself. The same like X300. The only difference, is that now more APUs will be usable (once they launch on AM5), as every new AMD's CPU is basically an APU.

ASRock's next gen DeskMini and DeskMeet mini PC models will include support for AMD's Ryzen 7000 processors via an X600 motherboard, while the Intel Raptor Lake processors will be supported through B760 motherboards. As always, there will be barebones and fully-configured versions.
