Immediately conspicuous shortcomings of the model:
1. HDMI 2.0b port, although i7 SoC with native support for 2.1 and GTX3050 is on board with 2.1 too. Stupid technical decision.
2. The 2.5Gbps RJ45 port is obviously not enough, because the case is thick enough and it easily fits in there (with a latch). Why wasn't it added? It costs a penny with the controller built into the SoC.
3. Despite the fact that the screen is only 8 bit, there is no support for 120-144Hz in 4K, although such panels have been on the market for a long time. As a result, the response is too large for G2G / B2W - in scrolling text, there will be a mess on the screen in front of your eyes. The eyes will get tired much faster than on fast response panels with 120-144Hz.
4. Exhaust of hot air, apparently, goes directly to the screen (part of the flow), and according to the author's measurements, the temperature there is above 50C. At the same time, the datasheet(panelook.com/LQ156D1JW42_Sharp_15.6_LCM_parameter_45287.html) for this Sharp panel clearly states that the maximum operating temperature is not more than 50C. This means that with a significant continuous load with such a temperature, the owner has every chance of getting a failure of the screen electronics.
5. Although the performance is not bad, but the second cooler is clearly too small, and the radiators could easily be made from 2 sides (back and side). Then the exhaust of hot air to the screen would decrease by 5-10C in temperature.
6. The noise is increased even in a low load, which can get when working behind him in a quiet room.
7. Autonomy is insufficient, especially with an 80Wh battery. But here is a hot Intel, so it's obvious. Plus, at rest, the laptop consumes a bit too much - 5W if this is without taking into account the screen.
8. Again, the usb-c power plug protruding to the left, which excludes the safe use of this laptop on reclining sofas for right-handers - they can easily break this connector with their feet. The power input must be either at the back or a reliable round angled plug as it was before.

Well, the inferior, without numpad, keyboard completes the set of problems in the 15" model.

MSI need to transfer key ports, including power port, to the back of the laptop like in Thinkbook 16p, make an exhaust on the sides and one usb-a each side. Plus on the audio jack on the left and right, so that it is convenient for both right-handed and left-handed people + fast quadro mode with 2 pairs of analog active speakers. And it would be nice to add optical spdif to one of the audio jacks or both for high-quality digital sound output with galvanic isolation of the power supply circuits of the amplifier and laptop. Well, squeeze a full-fledged keyboard with numpad.

Here is the recipe for a laptop that will definitely sell for $2000. =)

Let me remind you - Thinkbook 16p costs about the same money. And there everything is much more convenient with a full keyboard.
