Why does a smartphone need 16GB of memory, if many here assure me that 16GB is enough even for W11 on x86? And I constantly write that for laptops now the minimum is 32GB... =)

For the record, I think the news about the charger had already been leaked when the 3C certification emerged back in September.

Still, it's always exciting to see how Samsung can set new low standards for the industry; S22 Ultra nerfed the RAM to 12GB (from the 16GB available for the 21 Ultra), now they're returning to 25W chargers. Ironically S20 Ultra had a 45W charger, but Samsung wisely decided that people love to spend more time charging their phones and nerfed it back to 25W with the S21 Ultra. It's one step forward, two steps back, whenever they introduce some innovation they immediately have cold feet and return to the previous configuration...

The FCC has now published documentation for all Samsung Galaxy S23 series models, with the Galaxy S23 Ultra the final piece of the puzzle. With a strange downgrade from the Galaxy S22 Ultra that will affect recharging times, leaker Roland Quandt may have stumbled upon the release date for Samsung's next flagships too.
