Cache sizes mention here are L3. CPU-s have almost same amount much faster L2 cache. Intel 11-gen increased L2 cache 4 times per core. Latest AMD CPU-s also increased L2 size 2 times. I think it is very important for increased performance.
Anybody knows why many tech reviewers/youtubers still often ignore L2 cache?
L2 is not share by cores, but still fully used when all cores are used.

Assuming Intel follows the pattern established by previous CPU launches, the company could launch locked Raptor Lake SKUs early next year. PC-Canada has now published product listings for locked Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, and Core i9 Raptor Lake chips. Interestingly, there is also a listing for the Core i9-13900KS that is supposed to boost up to 6 GHz.
