Tesla will not and should not lower prices in the U.S. because supply can't keep up with demand and that dictates fair and proper pricing economics.  I didn't realize there were enough Chinese people in China that could afford any car let alone to make it the #1 E.V. market in the world.

Just as rumored ever since Tesla introduced insurance incentives which amounted to a de facto Model 3 and Model Y price cut, the company actually slashed the starting tag of its electric vehicles in the most competitive market for them, China. The Model 3/Y price reduction is more than 9% there.
