What else to expect from nvidia. They always do smth shady like artificially increasing demand and then act like good guys offering you a pipe dream (a "chance" to buy smth that doesn't exist basically), just like with miners, selling backdoor to them silently and then they dare to say gpus are for gamers primarily. And now if you have an AMD card you can't use this app to get a chance to buy a card either, unless AMD does smth similar. A missed opportunity to get rival customers on their side

Considering that Nvidia has invested almost $10bn in TSMC 4nm and had months to produce chips, availability would be solved the most easily by not artificially restricting GPUs to hype fake demand shortly after launch. Distinguishing first and second class world citizens by Nvidia subscription status is nothing but the worst (because it is unethical) of all market manipulations.

The limited stock issues associated with flagship GPU launches could become a thing of the past with Nvidia's new "Verified Priority Access" program that offers GeForce Experience users a chance to order an RTX 4090 Founder Edition without worrying about retailer stocks.
