How is this explained? Has TSMC increased wafer prices by 2.4x? Is A16 a much larger die than A15? How is the information about $110 confirmed?

A new bill of materials (BoM) analysis for the iPhone 14 series has concluded that the unit cost of manufacturing these new flagships has grown by ~20% compared to that of its 13-series counterparts. Most of this increased expense is laid at the A16 Bionic processor's door in this new report, although the new 14 Pro and Pro Max cameras haven't helped either.
