I assume you mean 3D gaming.

For 1080p, the CPU is the bottleneck.

For higher display resolutions, the GPU is the bottleneck.

Once you have chosen your resolution and either the CPU or GPU fast enough accordingly, you can start considering 3D game settings, VRAM size, specific CPU model and TDPs. Not to mention noise.

Hello.

Is this configuration better than the F15 2022 Gaming, which has lower GPU but better CPU?
Dash has 3070, which has a large 8GB GDDR6 at 105W
But the F15 Gaming has 3060 6GB GDDR6 but at a whopping maximum 140W I believe. It also comes with i7-12700H.

My question is, which of these is better for gaming?

Glad I got this when it was $999 at Best Buy the few days before black Friday. Added a 2tb 970 evo plus m.2 SSD ($159) after I got it. Nice laptop for portable gaming. I can live with the screen because it's not my main gaming rig.

A reputable US-based retailer now sells the well-equipped 15-inch gaming laptop with an RTX 3070 at a notable 26% discount, which brings the RTX 3070-powered Asus TUF Dash F15 down to an enticing sale price of just US$1,099.
