If said office laptop can't be silent on a natural weak power then is no good.

About your Ideapad Pro being attractive i very much doubt that, Ideapad chassis is not made for cooling, i bet a year old legion with 5800H is not far from your performance.
What you can get in Cinebench 23 multicore?

The whole point of a review is that folks won't go around advertising their rushed suppositions, hence it is frustrating they chose a model that doesn't represent the best this line has to offer. At about the same price point, The AMD variant is attractive as long as it's being stacked against this clunker.

It's odd that notebook check chose the this model over the much more attractive DDR5 counterpart.
I own the Pro that comes bundled with an AMD 6800hs and 16 of lpddr5 6400 ram and with exception of the iffy touchpad, it's a strong performer. Why they chose to review this poorly specced and unimpressive pro model is beyond me.

I completely agree with this review. Touchpad is terrible, fans are annoying. I would return this laptop if I could.

Notebookcheck insists on testing performance with balanced profile.
In addition to not showing the real potential of the machine, this causes distortions in the average scores of the comparisons of both CPUs and GPUs.

The IdeaPad 5 Pro is not a typical office or business laptop with a variety of security features and ports, but rather a compact all-rounder. The biggest highlight of this 14-inch device is its high-resolution IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
