Since this one's cheap enough, I guess it's still debateable whether it has any advantage over a 100" panel. You can already get a basic non-miniLED panel with ~200 dimming zones at about twice the price, providing 4K, a few stops more brightness, and likely higher contrast and a better gamut, likely a magnitude higher light source lifetime(this considering the price is most likely not laser),and infinitely better daylight viewing, but not at this price.
Plus, I suppose it's better home decor than that Redmi TV.

The XGIMI Magic Lamp is now available to pre-order in China. The multi-use gadget combines a ceiling-mounted light with a projector which can cast 1080p images with a 0.7:1 throw ratio. You can control the device, including the brightness and color temperature of the lamp, via a smartphone app. Plus, the device has an integrated 2.1 channel Harman Kardon sound system.
