Guys, I am still using a GTX 960 with 4 GB of memory on my desktop and I'm happy with it. :D

Low VRAM is good for lower TDP, especially in notebooks.

Regardless, there should be variety so that buyers can get what they need. I am lucky that my VRAM needs are low but I understand that others might need more.

Good luck with that.

The desktop RTX 3060 only has 12 GB of VRAM because it was a knee-jerk reaction to AMD's lineup.

I wish that Nvidia do not cut th VRAM in their Laptop series. It is ridiculous that a 3060 desktop have 12Gb VRAM and a 3060 laptop only 6Gb.

Idea:  we should be able to pay for the VRAM and add it to the card.

Although the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 family is expected to arrive in October, a fresh leak revealed that the GeForce RTX 4090 with an impressive 24 GB of memory has been in production for more than a week already. This card is expected to feature four display connectors, namely a single HDMI and three DP.
