It would be great if someone could make an inexpensive convertible EV sportscar. It would be easy to do. These EVs are built on skateboard platforms. Take a small cheap EV like a Bolt or a Leaf or a Model 3 and change the body. Seriously. There is a market. Right now all you can buy are bunch of crossovers and sedans. Of course there are no EV driver enthusiasts when there are no EVs for enthusiasts. This Polestar is another rich people only car. Make one for 35-40k I promise, they will sell.

Polestar has noted that its recently-unveiled concept of an open-top electric roadster met with immense "positive reception" - so much so, in fact, that the brand is going to turn it as a commercial car. It will launch as the Polestar 6 LA Concept edition and is projected to achieve 150+ mph speeds - however, it will also be available in limited numbers and at a potentially shocking price.
