Let's face it, more baby boomers than anything will buy a challenger/ Charger than any other demographic. They will probably stop buying " muscle cars" if this is true about them going all electric. Chrysler is probably about to end up killing the Dodge Brand in the future due to poor sales, likely from shooting themselves in the foot. Boomers don't like change. Personally I could care less about the hemi, because it's actually not that great of an engine to begin with. Lifter and Cam problems all the time. A I6 will always be the better choice. They might be able to save themselves if they put that new hurricane engine in, along with a mild hybrid system ( Think e tourqe ). As long as they can keep the government bean counters happy..

Speculation as usual, and sadly people cling to this thought process. Dodge announced it will deliver the roadmap for the Mopar muscle cars' future at Roadkill nights on Woodward in none the less Pontiac Michigan, AKA Speed week. This all starts August 14th.

Not what I saw,From a Last Newer Google post,That Chryslers one Google post says that even thoe their gonna start building all electric muscle cars, that ever since they have made lots of money out of all their Top selling engines which is their Hemi powered engines over the whole life of their muscle cars!&It stated there's was no reason, that they didn't really have to stop building their most top selling engines which is their Hemi-V-8,engines!The Google post looked like it says they were still gonna keep building the Hemi powered V-8 engines along with all the newer electric powered engines. And it Looked liked the Hemi powered V-8,Wasn't dead yet!

The next generation of the popular Dodge Charger and Dodge Challenger will exclusively rely on all-electric drivetrains, which may be a tough swallow for muscle car fans from around the world who love the unique rumbling sound of a V8 Hemi.
