Because I don't have bloatware, slow shudder speeds, and snapdragon processors are about 2 generations behind in benchmarks.  I do miss having usb c, Dolby virtual headphone, and a camera that has broken the 12mp barrier.

I just made a post today indicating the iPhone 13 pro would probably be a better buy than the 14 regular. The iPhone 13 pro will also get a decrease in price making it basically more of a phone than the 14 in my opinion.

Basically they said it will be 100$ more expensive, so that now when they sell it for a regular price veverybody will be praising them for selling it cheaper than expected 😂 That is some fing human psychology...

Because people can and they will get the iPhone.

Same reason why people buy Lamborghini, villas, and much more expensive things.

Is there a need? Definitely no, but they have the money and they like so they get it.

Why people do anything that they do? is it solely based on need? NO.

Being only useful is not everything, and when you get it, then you will appreciate it.

Why would anyone spend so much for a phone that doesn't even have a headphone jack or USB-C?

Recent rumors claimed the iPhone 14 would start at US$899, US$100 more than the iPhone 13 did. According to a new report, however, the iPhone 14 is set to maintain the price tag of its predecessor, with Apple supposedly keen to keep entry prices as low as possible.
