Why is this thing called a pedelec? You cant peddle, so it's a moped.
And even if it had pedals, because of the topspeed of around 35km/h, it doesn't qualify as a standard pedelec, with a max. speed of 25 km/h. So why limit the power to 250w then? A moped is allowed to have 500w.
As it stands now, you can buy it in Europe, but you won't be able to use it legally on the road. Unless they had it certified as a moped or speed pedelec. Since the article doesnt mention any registration, I fear the worst...

The Afreda S6 Pro reverse 3-wheel e-bike is now shipping to Europe. The crowdfunded pedelec has a top speed of 35 kph (~22 mph) and up to 60 km (~97 miles) range.
