Huawei uses cheap AU Optronics and Innolux panels for their budget laptops, but BOE panels for their flagship more expensive models.  That should tell you how good BOE is.  Sure, BOE can produce crappy panels too, but for foreign companies looking to cut corners/save a few bucks.  Don't think BOE cares if it loses Apple as a customer.  Besides, Chinese consumers don't even think highly of Apple...

The display OEM BOE's status as a maker of iPhone 14 displays is said to have been in jeopardy following a disagreement with Apple over the manufacture of the flagship smartphones' predecessors. However, it seems BOE has secured its repeat business from the Cupertino giant after all, albeit for a relatively small proportion of 14-series OLED screens.
