Musk: Hey, Twitter. I wanna buy your Twitter. Deal?
Twitter: Deal! Btw we have less than 5% fake accounts, no crypto hype legion and other kind of scam! Imagine how lucky you are Elon!
Musk: rofl what? prove it
Twitter: give us our mon$y!

As it stands this little political stunt will cost Musk a cool 1B usd. From what I have read on this case - Musk forfeited any additional investigation into his acquisition/purchase. Even if twitter did not provide any info during this process they would still be entitled to the separation fee. And they did indeed entertain all of Musks requests.

The eccentric billionaire is apparently no longer willing to buy the social network Twitter, as his lawyers claim that the company has broken several contractual obligations which caused him to back out of the controversial deal worth around US$44 billion.
