This is a worrying trend. I'm going to avoid ALL notebooks that don't have an integrated or jack, even if they have the best HW/cost ratio.

you guys might wanna recheck your sources. It's not "reusing" 9310 chassis if they took out microsd and 3.5mm headphone jack, the shell tooling is just different in this case...

Dell might have won me over with the 9315 if they had released it before the XPS 13 Plus, as I really enjoyed my previous XPS 13 but draw the line at capacitive keys.

But they went all weird, so I'm happily on an Asus.  Not sure if I could stomach the lack of 3.5mm jack, anyways.  Bluetooth pairing and charging is annoying, especially when you're carrying both a phone and laptop that can pair with a headset.

Dell has presented the XPS 13 9315, an update to the XPS 13 9310 and XPS 13 9305. While the XPS 13 9315 has a visible trackpad and no touch bar, Dell has omitted the microSD card reader and 3.5 mm jack that are included in the XPS 13 9310. Also, Dell has replaced the 28 W processors in the XPS 13 9310 and XPS 13 9305 with 15 W alternatives from Intel's Alder Lake family.
