Storage is removable on the Surface Laptop Go 1.  I don't see why it wouldn't be on this one too.

Never, ever buy Surface series.  I got two Surface Pros, SP6 & 7 and within two years both the screen started ghosting and approached Microsoft.  They confirmed it is a known issue with Surface Pros starting from 4/5 and still going on.  They offered me to take my SP6 and give me a refurbished for USD450. No guarantee on the refurbished one! I found in Google and this is massive problem and affects almost 90% of the surfaces.  So, do not go near the anything Surface.

too bad they don't change the screen resolution ... I love the compact form factor but the text on this 1536x1024 screen doesnt look smooth to me ... maybe it's not the screen resolution but the screen quality ...

New information about the Surface Laptop Go 2 has emerged online. It is confirmed to run an Intel Core i5-1135G7 Tiger Lake processor, up to 8 GB RAM, 256 GB storage and a 12.4-inch screen. It will be announced in June 2022 for a starting price of US$650.
