What is not so great is the fact for some stupid reason they build the motherboard upside down so to the novice cleaning is almost a task to great why a company the size of dell tech does this is counter to good customer relations if you do require to clean the unit get high pressure air cannister and insert it into the back fan outlets each side in turn should get rid of most dust build up as its just plain heat pipes on this model.

The standard ssd drives in the g15 se 5521 version are all really slow gen 3 2230 affairs yet I put I have tried both 1 and 2 tb Kingston KC3000 gen 4 and they really fly so good on dell for having a system board that allows it but not so good giving only gen 3's shows how much they penny pinch to start with!

The power of this laptop is quite amazing and its thermals never get above 50 c on the outside frame on my first unit just sold that and waiting for a refurbished as they are new units unless the outlet sells as dents and scratches then they deffo are not joking there! haha you have been warned.

Dell is definitely stepping up in the mid-range department with gaming laptops, I own a g15 5510 and it's been a very durable and reliable machine well-suited for my needs (medium tasks and the occasional gaming session here and there), really these G-series are well budget oriented which is nice to see whiting that price range

Dell has announced a new onslaught on the gaming laptop space in India. It will do so by distributing its latest G-series features across the G15 5520 and 5521 SE variants. They will both feature 12th-gen Intel processors and RTX 3000-series graphics, although some new G15 features such as a 3-side borderless QHD 240Hz display are exclusive to the SE in this market.
