This device has micro SD, a headphone jack an oled screen and on that alone I'm sold.
Given that this comes out in the US in September, the ball is in Samsungs hands now to sway me over.
If they can drastically improve the camera on the next fold, have a version with 1tb that costs the same or less than this new xperia ... I might consider.
As for the iphone... who needs to waste money on an expensive paper weight? lol.

Let me see, a new iPhone that releases in the 2H with allegedly 8K recording, powerful/superior software/hardware (that DOES NOT burn the hands), etc., (and the MONEY I SAVED I CAN PURCHASE ~TRUE LOSSLESS~ HEADPHONES OF MY CHOICE) or a dated Xperia device that offers nothing from its predecessor but just a gouged Sony's tax as usual?! Hmm... 🤔

DOA! 👎

Hmmm lemme see - iPhone I traded for office chair just to get rid of it and "excellent" support or clean Android... yeah going with sony.

The Sony Xperia 1 IV product page for the US market has provided full details about the new flagship smartphone, including its hefty US$1,599.99 price tag, its somewhat astonishing release date, the two available color options, and the attractive bundle deal that Sony usually offers with its latest Xperia 1 devices.
