what about 3050 version? It goes with 135w adapter, and 144mhz screen is probably more reasonable with discrete GPU(although 3050 is pretty weak, it is still much of upgrade compared to Vega). A Chinese exclusive?

The 16(.1)" 16:9 screen dimension is the ultimate tease in a time when 16:10 screens are finally re-emerging, with 16" as a common size.

Upon noting such a number in a size-delinated product name,
- Expectation: 16" 1920x1200 / 2560x1600 / 3072x1920 / 3840x2400.
- Reality: A slightly-embiggened 15.6" 16:9 laptop with a correspondingly-truncated resolution.

It's great that the taller proportions are returning, but it seems a lot of brands are still defaulting to 16:9. I hope 16:10 continues to become more common instead of falling off at one point or another.

The new MagicBook 16 from Honor succeeds the MagicBook Pro and offers a 16.1-inch IPS display with 144 Hz and a fast AMD Ryzen 5000 processor. However, the 65-watt power supply is problematic, as it is too weak for this system.
