As for the product itself, it weighs 4.34kg. That's just way too heavy for such a small battery. My XPS 15 laptop weighs 2kg and has 97 Wh battery. The battery itself is just a several hundred grams, so I have no idea how Anker "achieved" 4.34kg. Is the case made of lead?
In part it's because they use LFP cells that are heavier but survive more cycles. It also depends on how good the cells are. How much weight matters to them. It's not something that fits in your pocket. IIRC, at the top end, LFP can go over 200 mWh/g, but at the bottom end, ordinary LFP can go under 100 mWh/g. Theoretically, cells alone could weigh 3 kg in this thing.

"256 W capacity"?
Hey Polly, if you're a tech writer you should probably know watts are not a measure for capacity, but for power? Did you maybe mean 256 Wh?

Anker has released the 521 PowerHouse portable charging bank. The device has a 256 W capacity and can charge the equivalent of 20 phones or four laptops via its various ports. The gadget has useful features such as an energy-saving mode, an LED display to indicate the product's charge level, and a built-in LED light.
