Wouldn't Geely's Polestar be the first brand to stop selling/producing Gas-powered vehicles (Polestar 1 was plug-in Hybrid now discontinued) and switch to BEV-only with Polestar 2 and other upcoming Polestar BEVs?
They mentioned BYD as the first Legacy automaker to stop gas car sales. Meaning they come from an older established history from making only gas powered cars. Polestar is a much newer brand that started out with a hybrid, so it's not considered a Legacy automaker.

Warren Buffett's investment in BYD is now prophetic as the company just became the first legacy carmaker to wean itself off solely ICE-powered vehicles completely. BYD announced that it hasn't produced or sold a single car that runs only on an internal combustion engine this March, while BYD Australia detailed the release date of the carmaker's direct Tesla Model 3 competitor.
