I have to agree with you. Its silly to say its old and directly make it sound like it's a bad thing. The 870 is like the pc version of the 2060 which was the most popular gpu out there at the time.

If your publication is to help consumers, I think you should stop it with the "it's only an SD 870" or "it's already two-year old tech." The SD 888 and 8 Gen 1 aren't really that much better than the SD 870 from a practical standpoint and phones sporting them are significantly more expensive. Uninformed readers may think SD 870 gadgets are not worth buying, when actually, 8 Gen 1 gadgets are the ones general customers should avoid due to less consistent performance due to thermal throttling.

Lenovo has published an official trailer for the Legion Y700, its Snapdragon 870-powered Android tablet. The video confirms a few more aspects about the tablet, which is believed to be arriving later this month.
