won't happen. dimensity 9000 still doesn't get anywhere near a15 single thread, but at least it will tame the heat and improve perf/w.

Flagship smartphones powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC are only now beginning to emerge in earnest. However, its maker Qualcomm seems intent on throwing a spanner in these works, should word of an upcoming refresh called the 8 Gen 1 Plus be anything to go by. Now, according to the latest leak, the OEM aims to launch it even earlier in 2022 than projected.
