Sounds fine to me. I already have enough chargers, in fact i have a 4 port 100w one i got exactly so i have fewer s*** to lug around (I'm in a position where i move a lot) there's no reason in the age of the USB-C, and you can charge them overnight from your pc too anyway. I mean just because your Ferrari can do 300kmph (45w) doesn't mean you have to... Usb is ubiquitous, if it's only 5w, it still is functional. No reason to have a charger extra

They got it the wrong way round: they should have ditched the tablet and sell the power supply alone at 699$ with the pencil as an optionnal extra. This is how you make money.

Reportedly, Samsung is looking to thin out the accessories it bundles with its tablets, starting with the Galaxy Tab S8 series. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Tab S8, Tab S8 Plus and Tab S8 Ultra will not have a power supply in their boxes, matching the trend that has affected flagship smartphones. Samsung will continue to include the S Pen with its premium tablets, though.
