I am not sure what version of the x1 you tested but I own an X1 Pro XL12 and a X2, and both have the same backlit keyboards and IDENTICAL screens. There are no upgrades whatsoever bar the upgraded graphics from UHD on non pro X1 models to Iris Plus across the X2 (X1 Pro already came with Iris Plus), a useless twin flash for the camera and windows 11 not 10 out of the box. The X2 is basically a slimmer and lighter version of the X1 at the expense of a smaller battery, slower charger, downgraded wifi and no fingerprint sensor.

The InBook X2 is 20 percent lighter and 13 percent smaller than last year's InBook X1 Pro and with additional QoL updates such as a keyboard backlight and brighter display. There are some downgrades nonetheless that users ought to be aware of.
