The crypt was originally conceived as a criminal network for drug dealers and corrupt officials (and just thieves and bandits) to bypass financial control through shadow exchangers for cash in different countries, and then launder them for the authorities for a certain bribe of immoral bankers and corrupt officials. Therefore, this, the main category of users of the crypt, in general, does not care about the commission, because. otherwise, they generally lose the opportunity to buy anything in the "developed" world with dirty money.

Ordinary people have nothing to do there due to the fact that the commissions and risks are prohibitive. Well, there are plenty of fools with money (good oxymoron!) to maintain the liquidity of criminal crypto networks for real beneficiaries...

With overall US$7.7 billion of stolen crypto, this year may not set a new record in terms of crypto crimes, but it definitely represents an uptick regarding one certain type of scam which unfortunately has become increasingly prevalent in 2021.
