This is fascinating news! Can someone elaborate on the potential integration of 8 MP webcams with the upcoming Intel Evo 4.0 spec on Raptor Lake mobile? The notion of such advanced camera capabilities is truly intriguing. I'm particularly curious about the anticipated VCX benchmark scores and how they might elevate the overall video and imaging experience. Are there any specific features or advancements in the webcam technology that we should be excited about? Given the ever-increasing importance of video communication, this development could mark a significant leap forward. If anyone has additional insights or information on the technical aspects, please share! The intersection of Intel Evo 4.0 and Raptor Lake's mobile capabilities sounds promising, and I'm eager to learn more about the potential enhancements in webcam technology.

New Intel Evo 4.0 specifications that are slated to arrive with Raptor Lake mobile seem to mandate good performing webcams with high VCX benchmark scores. Intel recently joined the VCX forum and as such is updating the Evo requirements accordingly. Evo 4.0 laptops can be expected to sport 8 MP cameras with large sensors and intelligent collaboration features.
