Sorry but the Samsung Galaxy A02 never received Android 12. As a matter of fact it is already late October with absolutely no sign that the device will ever get it. If you spend time on the official Samsung website you actually have to dig and search a lot before finding it. As for the community is concerned and I do mean the official forum. It has been hidden there as well. It is pretty obvious that Samsung has no plans to update this to Android 12. When confronted they block emails, or write extremely rude messages saying they will not release a ROM defore its due date. Well the due date was July. Now they are only giving security patches. Of which There was an August and September and October patch for the device and yes I have the international version of this device. I never got those either.

It seems that only the Galaxy S21 series will move onto One UI 4 and Android 12 this month. For some reason, Samsung will wait until December before upgrading the Galaxy Z series, along with the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series. Some Samsung devices must wait until July 2022 for their One UI 4 and Android 12 updates, though.
