Ok, so how do you explain this though?
One is 5 series, the other is 7 series, same laptop?

Oh come on. AMD models are denoted by "5" at the end of the model index. Pretty much always. Latitude 7xx5 is AMD, 5xx0 is Intel. ThinkPad T485 would be AMD based, T480 is Intel based. HP Elitebook 745 is AMD, 740 is Intel. Becomes easy when you know it.

We're not sure if a different processor and color are enough to justify a completely different model name between the two visually identical models. For shoppers, this can be more confusing than it needs to be when researching laptops before purchasing.
