These camera support tools can be used with other smartphones as well. Samsung etc will probably be using these design experiments internally. For the rest of us, we are waiting for usable hints & products.

Of course, it does.
It's just 1080p for some reason, and do not forget it's still just a tiny camera sensor in low light situation.

A new video published by National Geographic and Samsung has shown how far smartphones cameras have come on in the last few years. The Galaxy S21 Ultra is the first smartphone to be used to photograph and video an underwater expedition.
