The hardware was great for the price, but even standard apps like calculator have adware/spyware and security updates are rubbish (I am currently stuck with 5 months old security updates).

Recommended only if you install an alternative OS saying goodbye to paid/business apps.

Now comparing this with my Redmi Note 10 Pro, it seems not so impressive. No 108 megapixel camera, no triple card holder, only a poorly functioning IPS screen (not OLED), and heavier battery use, due to the very fast CPU.
In terms of software, we prefer mature, completely debugged items.  Open Camera, Gboard keyboard, and either Microsoft Launcher, or Nova Launcher.  All of these top quality items are better than any OEM product.

An excellent price-performance ratio - not only is this characteristic of Xiaomi's Redmi series, but it's even more so when it comes to the manufacturer's Poco smartphones. The Poco X3 Pro is no exception: For 250 Euros (~$305), you get a fast Snapdragon SoC, a 6.7-inch IPS display with 120 Hz, a quad camera, 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
