Nachdem Apple mit den farbenfrohen iMacs bereits gezeigt hatte, dass man durchaus bereit ist, wieder zu älteren Konzepten aus Steve Jobs-Zeiten zurückzukehren, soll es bald auch neue MacBooks in mehreren Farben geben, zumindest ein blauer Prototyp existiert laut Quelle eines bekannten Leakers tatsächlich.
