Quote from: Elena Sh on December 22, 2021, 01:29:03Terrible experience with my brand-new Nokia X20, bought in Russia from official dealer, that hurts my eyes badly at once since day 1 (now 3). Nothing like that has ever happened to me before with any of my Nokias, Samsung, Motorola or iPad. Checked the previous models I owned and found out that all of them had OLED or AMOLED displays. This one has IPS and is killing me. Supposedly 0 PWN, so it's not the cause. The colors are not natural and the brightness is crazy whatever the adjustment. Excellent battery life though. But cannot keep it:(((
This is the first time ever I saw someone who reacts to the screen in such a manner. Really, you can avoid it in the first place and I have no idea why would you buy it if you dislike the screen so much. I personally found this phone quite reliable.

Apparently this phone doesn't have a GPS, there is no trace of it in the review :)

Still, could we hope we'll find one if we buy it, even a dual band type ?

The PWM reading in the image seems odd, it seems more stable than other IPS displays, except for that single noticable detection, why is it so and what is that detection about? It could be nothing but it will be good to know if there is an anomaly in the display.

The Nokia X20 shows where the Finnish traditional manufacturer is headed: New cell phone names, more sustainability, even more customer-oriented. With 5G, an extra-long warranty, and compostable accessories, this could succeed. We take a closer look in the test.
