"Considering this is Intel's first foray into discrete GPUs (not counting Larrabee), the performance seems pretty decent and without surprises."

Not surprising, but not really even close to "decent".

Not even beating a bargain bin, entry-level dGPU that launched for $79 in 2017?!? LOL. Go home, Intel and Raja Koduri. You're drunk.

RX550 was an entry level product many years ago, and Intel's GPU does not seem to bring anything new to the table. This is mighty unimpressive and reeks of a total failure. Thank the lord that the poor leech Koduri left AMD..now we can see his talent with this GPU.

A Basemark GPU Vulkan run of the Asus Xe DG1 GPU shows that it is within striking distance of an AMD Polaris Radeon RX 550. This is the first benchmark to be discovered after the card was officially announced earlier this year. The score is decent considering this is Intel's first attempt at a mainstream discrete GPU solution.
