Ths model has been selling for $799 at walmart for the past few months which is an increase from its $649/$699 price during the christmas season that many have been watching prices for its return.   But the price is pretty constant at $799 because they have a ryzen version for $599.   4600h 6/12 core and a gtx1650 with 4gb of memory.  Also a deal... stronger processing but much weaker GPU,  otherwise identical Tong Fang machines.

Interestingly ACER owns Gateway but has nothing to do with this machine... the gateway machines sold through walmart seem to be their creation with some brand name licensing somewhere.    Walmart has been doing its own lines of computers the past 2-3 christmas seasons but nothing has got traction past christmas so I think they decided to go with a recognizable name to try to build a brand.

The RTX 2060 dGPU is still a good mid-range mobile dGPU, especially now that Gateway and Walmart are offering laptops that integrate it for only US$799. This deal also includes a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with 120 Hz refresh rate, an Intel Core i5-10300H CPU, plus 8 GB DDR4-3200 and 256 GB SSD storage that can be easily upgradable.
