The German and Swiss pages state that the T14 Gen 2 has Thunderbolt 3 (lenovo.com/ch/en/laptops/thinkpad/t-series/T14-G2-Intel/p/22TPT14T4N2), but the US site claims it has Thunderbolt 4 (lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpad-t-series/T14-G2-Intel/p/22TPT14T4N2)

Which is true? Is it possible the the units sold in Europe are different?

Anyone have any idea what happened to the 4k display on T-15 gen 2? None of the offered configurations contain a 4k 15-inch display, yet every review including this one states iit has such a configuration. Its past March so what do we expect? May ?

ThinkPad T15 Gen 2 (Intel) seems to be available now in US: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpad-t-series/ThinkPad-T15-Gen-2-Intel/p/22TPT15T5N2

As well as ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 (Intel):
https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpad-t-series/T14-G2/p/22TPT14T4N2

One of the 14 inch Storm Grey models even has a 500 nits touchscreen option.

such a pity that this can't be used anymore as a laptop! the sharp edge of the palmrest will cut through your wrist as soon as you place your hands on the keyboard.
I upgraded my old T460 which was difficult to use as a laptop due to the crappy screen (extremely dim), and I got the T14 which has a great screen, but cannot be used as a laptop because of the palmrest.

So these AMD CPUs all support ECC but Lenovo and the rest refuse to allow us to use the feature! They don't even need to bundle ECC RAM, but at least let us upgrade (add motherboard support; practically free for Lenovo)!

And yes, a higher quality webcam should be default now.

T15 will be similar but with bigger screen and NumPad. I think Lenovo hasn't properly and throughly updated their websites yet.

This has such nice specs but the 1 soldered memory module means I will stay away from this and go with L14 or L15. I have had laptops where the soldered memory went bad and then the laptop itself was completely dead, wouldn't power on with no way to replace the defective memory.

The AMD vs Intel debate is meaningless for those of us that require TB4.

Fairplay, son. However, don't forget that multicore performance of Intel's 4 core 10nm+++++ is nowhere near a Ryzen 9 with 35W+.

Plus, Intel's been abusing their monopoly status for too long and need their Schnitzels trimmed. So, if you're the ethically and BLM-friendly minded son I raised, you'll agree that Intel deserve a divorce.

T15 uses Tiger Lake, which are 10 nm chips, not 14 nm.

Issues of new lineup:
- Outdated, thick bezels from the 17th century
- Same chassis as T490, T14 G1
- Fan exhaust blows hot air on your hand
- No 64GB RAM support
- No 1080p webcams
- T15 only comes with inefficient Intel 14nm++++++++ nightmare CPU
- Still no ThinkPad T15g with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX or 5980HS + RTX 3080 Max-P, 165W, 16GB
- Still no ThinkPad X1 Extrene with AMD Ryzen 9 5980HS + RTX 3060 Max-Q, 65W+, 6GB

Some of the 2021 ThinkPads have been redesigned by Lenovo. Not so the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 2 and T15 Gen 2: Both still use the same chassis as their predecessors. Their are new on the inside though, as both will be offered with the newest Intel and AMD processors.
