Nvidia can totally eat the increased cost because I'm sure the profit margin is large enough. Nope, just increase the cost for users so they remain nice and cozy with their unaffected profit margin. Also, I think it's BS to increase cost because of a shortage. If there was only 1 person in the entire world interested in a 3080, Nvidia would be so willing to decrease MSRP. Increasing it to a shortage is just evidence that the sanitizer profiteers in the middle of the summer were just playing the supply and demand game like the big guys are.

According to a major European retailer, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series will become even harder to purchase between now and April. Prices of NVIDIA's latest graphics cards will continue to increase too, even those bought from retailers.
