Thank You for the article. I really want to upgrade from my trusty S7, but I WILL NOT buy ANY phone without an SDXC slot. This had me a bit worried because I can still buy the S20 Ultra, and as much as I really want the better optical Zoom and Low light capabilities, I just won't budge on the memory issue. This had me worried enough to buy the S20 Ultra now rather than take a chance the S22 or whatever comes down the pike won't have as good a camera OR a flash memory slot! I am still in a tis about what to do, but I think I'll wait and see. I will switch brands rather then settle for a phone without a flash memory slot.

Mandatory upgrade? Both, the Galaxy S20 Ultra as well as its successor, feature Samsung's own in-house 108 MP sensor for their main camera. However, Samsung massively upgraded the S21 Ultra's zoom capabilities. Does this alone justify an upgrade?
