Should have gotten the 300-nit Full HD display instead of the 250-nit version. Not only is it brighter, its got much better colour rendition. In the L13 Yoga Gen 1 review, the 300 nit display got 99.6% sRGB and 64.1% Adobe RGB (vs. 63% and 40% for the panel in this review)

No, Thunderbolt is and always has been a premium only feature, and it will continue to be that way. Unlike before, some mid-range laptops are starting to get TB4 thanks to AMD's competition, but entry-level and low-end will remain the same with only USB-C.

As for Thinkpads, anything other than the P series will most likely not be upgradeable in the future. On the other hand, consumer laptops from Lenovo itself and other OEMs are starting to focus more on modularity and serviceability thanks to the Right to Repair movement gathering more interest outside of the Tech Enthusiast community.

As always, a wise course of action isn't sticking to one 'credible' brand, but instead doing the right research and finding a product that comes out on top at a given time period between the start and end of the market's release cycle.

So, does Tiger Like bring true Thunderbolt for non-premium laptops? Does it have 4x PCIe lanes and eGPU capable? This laptop is a good test of Intel's promises.

I am really looking forward to L14 and L15 Gen 2 of this laptop which should correct some of the flaws of this L13 model. Mainly RAM will be upgradeable and the display at least 300 nits and 100% sRGB. Still I wish Lenovo had put in another M.2 slot like the E series has.

The ThinkPad L13 Gen 2 is the latest version of Lenovo's 13-inch ultrabook and is equipped with 11th generation Intel Core processors, resulting in the upgrade to the new integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics. In addition, the new L13 is at the cutting edge of technology thanks to USB 4 and Thunderbolt 4, respectively. It goes without saying that you can also enjoy the excellent ThinkPad input devices here.
