For almost a decade, Electronic Arts has had exclusive access to the Star Wars IP. EA was the sole creator of AAA Star Wars games - an arrangement, which did not turn out to be very productive. And it is now coming to its end: Disney's new Lucasfilm Games division is opening up the IP for other partners, starting with Ubisoft.
