This is buy far one of the several professional aka mobile computers on the market which are not meant for the generic public! It is very strict design without any frills, no toy no bla bla not whatsoever. The customers who are after shiny miny colorful bla bla are not supposed to even know about existence of the brand Fujitsu which is real deal for the business and professional engineering and development community and people like before the ThinkPad series was, until it got killed and messed up by the crappy Lenovo these days.So at the moment I will say that the only Company which is really offering serious tools and top notch quality is left the fujitsu I hope tho that stupid market trends and dumb customers won't affect much the direction of this amazing series!

Bought this laptop (used) after having to deal with lack of ports and adapters dark world on macbook air M1 and surface pro. Could not be happier! Everytime you connect to a network no more USB to rj45, no more messing around with adapter that are almost 150/200 Grams, so my bag is overall 400g lighter. I will probably buy the new model with 11th or better 12th gen Intel cpu and I've seen the fujitsu configurator is really awesome. In this crazy world of illusions IMHO Fujitsu is the real leader of lightness, expandability, connection capabilities. After seeing this workhorse in action some friend is switching to Fujitsu... not as beautiful as the air or the surface, but I use the laptop every day for business and for IT support, and the Lifebook is just perfect for that

Yes, you can buy a cheap rotating table $5 from AliExpress for laptops and tablets to showcase the viewing angles and relfections of the screen, frame and chassis.

Here is an idea for Fujitsu (and other manufacturers as well...):

Get rid of SPEAKERS and Kensington lock.
Both things are obsolete and space can be used e.g. for better cooling or ports (not in this case, this machine has great port selection), or just for weight reduction...

Kensington lock - I am sure that there are users who use it, but is it so important? I work in business environment but honestly I never used this lock, even if probably all laptops I used had one..
If you want to prevent the theft, then lock wohle laptop or something. Especially for such a niche small machine like this is is waste of space

Speakers - now why wold you do remove these, when some manufacturers compete who offers better sound, cooperating with big audio comanies...
You will never get really good sound from speakers like this, and if you want one, you can plugin HiFi headphones, even bettrer for example USB DAC/amlifier and you can enjoy music in high quality through headphones or HiFi loudspekers.

Now I do understand, that there are many scenarios, where you do not need hight quality, and you profit from presence of buid-in speakers, whether it is conf-calls, presentations, or you want to watch youtube on holiday and dont want to connect aditional stuff into the laptop just to hear the sound.
So of course this is quite bold decision, to remove spekers completely. But I think that not complete nonsense.
One more advantage of no spekers - if you watch internet and advertisemet with sound jumps of and you speakers are on, you can disturb your surrounding accidentaly with this. Wont happen if you have no speakers at all :)

In your review your cover almost all aspects of reviewed device, and what is great is your consistecny in this. Especially I like the part about the display, which not every review elswhere covers in this factual way as you do.
However there is one think which you could still add to these display reviews on regular basis, and that is some kind of evaluation of display reflections (I know you do this, usually in textual description of it is partially visible from photos).
What I have in mind is some standardized approach to this. I am not sure how to meassure reflections of display (perhaps really by meassuring intensity of reflected licht at certain angle?), but perhaps best would be to have some studio setup, with fixed lighting in white/black box and camera on tripod and to make a photo, where one could see how much the display reflects the outdoor world.

E.g. this Lifebook u9310x (or u939x) are perhaps the only convertible with matte screen (maybe Acer Ezel as well?), but when I look on your outdoor photo in this review, it looks that the display reflets still something.

So I am not sure how to improve this exactly, but the point is, that it is not clear how much the display is reflective or matte (most of other reviewers dont care about this at all, or just marginally, so please do not take this as criticism. It is only idea where you could try to figure out somethig).

Perhaps even better that photo would be some short vide-sequence where laptop is in conrolled enviroment (same light, same position, same tripod etc), and camera goes aboud the display (or laptop is rotating) so that different angles show how much the display reflects at various angles..

Hopefully this makes some sense :)
