Also, why in the world does it have two HDMI ports, but only one DisplayPort? I mean, it's a computer monitor, not a TV. Or is that how the speakers work (do you need HDMI to get audio in)?

Pretty much my dream monitor. Except for the refresh rate. I would like at least 100 Hz, for smoother scrolling. The big question is, does it have an ambient light sensor? I wouldn't buy a monitor without automatic brightness adjustment.

Note that the auto KVM is based on the video input you choose. AFAIK, it cannot be configured to automatically switch input from PC1 to PC2 based on moving the mouse from one area of the screen to the other.

Software solutions like Microsoft Mouse Without Borders work better and independently of the input switching.

I know this is the case for KVM, but I think auto KVM is more seamless and automatic. Not particularly sure about Dell's implementation here but Synergy also offers similar functionality and the flexibility of moving across various OSes.

Mouse without borders is great but sadly.it hasn't graduated out of Microsoft Garage and hasn't seen updates in quite a while. I wish MS popularized it a bit more.

The UltraSharp 40 Curved is a 5K IPS panel with 100% sRGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage with a delta E less than 2. The UltraSharp 40 Curved offers a wide range of ports and can control two PC inputs at once thanks to Dell's Auto KVM feature.
